Journal History

The journal was founded in 2011 by the University Institute of Tourism Research at the University of Alicante with the aim of promoting research, reflection, and understanding of tourism.

Also until 2023 (issue 26), works were published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. From 2024, they will be licensed under a Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
